Images and music have been used together for centuries, from theatrical performances, to viewing artwork, to the modern medium of motion pictures. All have one thing in common, to create in the audience an emotional response to the imagery beyond what is there.

In 2002 Michael Reason of the Hamilton Philharmonic Orchstra approached me to create an audio-visual show of city landscapes that would be projected to a live performance of Aaron Copland's "Quiet City". What resulted was a wide-screen 6 projector production rear projected on a 10X30ft screen above the orchestra. Integrating the images and the music so closely they appear connected as visual ballet and in doing so elevate both the images and the music to a higher level.
